Regency
Energy Partners is a midstream gas gathering and processing,
contract compression and transportation company with core
operations in Texas, Louisiana, Kansas, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Regency
owns approximately 5,595 miles of gas gathering pipeline,
753,328 horsepower of third-party compression, and nine active
processing and treating plants. Our customers include major and
independent southwestern gas producers. Regency's assets
also include a 43% interest in the RIGS Haynesville Joint Venture,
which owns the Regency Intrastate Gas System, a 450-mile
intrastate pipeline in North Louisiana,
Our operations are divided into three primary business segments:
- Gathering and Processing: We provide wellhead-to-market services to producers of natural gas, which include transporting raw natural gas from the wellhead through gathering systems, processing raw natural gas to separate NGLs from the raw natural gas, and selling or delivering the pipeline-quality natural gas and NGLs to various markets and pipeline systems.
- Transportation: We operate the Regency Intrastate Gas System (RIGS) on behalf of the RIGS Haynesville Joint Venture. RIGS delivers natural gas from Northwest Louisiana to more favorable markets in Northeast Louisiana through the 450-mile Regency Intrastate Pipeline system.
- Contract Compression: We provide customers with turn-key natural gas compression services .
The Corporate and Others Segment is Regency's fourth reporting segment and is primarily comprised of Regency's corporate offices and Gulf States Transmission Corporation, a 10-mile interstate pipeline that extends from Harrison County, Texas to Caddo Parrish, Louisiana.
