South Texas

Regency's South Texas gathering assets gather, compress, dehydrate and treat natural gas. Each asset is configured to provide distinct niche services by area of service:

• Lean Gas treating 
• Rich gas gathering
• Rich gas treating 
• Low pressure gathering

Some of the natural gas produced in this region has significant hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide content. Regency has the only operating midstream gathering assets with associated treating facilities in the region.  These systems are connected to processing and treating facilities that include an acid gas reinjection well. The natural gas supply for our South Texas gathering systems is derived primarily from natural gas wells located in mature basins that generally have long lives and predictable gas flow rates.
