West Texas
Regency's
system covers four West Texas counties surrounding the Waha Hub,
one of Texas' major natural gas market areas. This system
provides a variety of gathering services afforded by multiple
pipelines, including low pressure compression, sour gas treating
and gas processing. Through our Waha gathering system, we offer
producers wellhead to market services. As a result of the
proximity of this system to the Waha Hub, the Waha gathering
system has a variety of market outlets for the natural gas that
we gather and process, including several major interstate and
intrastate pipelines serving California, the Mid-continent
region of the United States and Texas natural gas markets.
Natural gas gathered on the Waha gathering system is processed
at the Waha Processing Plant, a cryogenic, natural gas
processing plant with high product recoveries. The Waha
Processing Plant also includes an amine treating facility to
remove carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide from raw natural gas.
