Industry Overview

The midstream natural gas industry is the link between exploration and production of raw natural gas and the delivery of its components to end-use markets. Raw natural gas produced from the wellhead is compressed, gathered and delivered to a processing plant located near the production, where it is treated, dehydrated, and/or processed. After the natural gas has been treated and/or processed and the natural gas has been separated from the mixed NGLs, the pipeline-quality natural gas is delivered by interstate and intrastate pipeline to markets. Mixed NGLs are transported via NGL pipelines or by trucks.

Regency serves as a midstream natural gas company offering comprehensive services from well head to market.
